01 / DIAGNOSE

Find the communication gaps

Review repair orders and real conversations to understand where estimates lose momentum.

02 / COACH

Give every advisor a process

Build clear explanations of technician-documented work. Practice questions and objections through weekly coaching.

03 / FOLLOW THROUGH

Make the next step clear

Assign permission-based declined-work follow-up and give your manager a weekly scorecard.

What happens after a customer says, “I’ll think about it”?

The estimate is ready, but explanations vary and postponed recommendations disappear. The 90-Day Auto Profit Program builds a repeatable communication and management process around your shop’s actual work.

Built for a shop ready to improve the service counter

  • At least two service advisors, or a multi-shop operation.
  • Consistent repair-order volume and available technician capacity.
  • Reliable gross-profit reporting and documented repair recommendations.
  • An owner or manager who will support coaching and follow-up.

If your technicians are already at full capacity, advisor coaching may not be the right first move.

90 DAYS · PER SHOP

$12,000, with half tied to the agreed target

$6,000 to begin

Baseline, communication playbook, coaching, and follow-up implementation.

$6,000 at target

An 8% improvement in gross profit per eligible repair order, measured under agreed definitions.

If we miss the target

If the agreed target is missed under the participation and measurement terms, the final $6,000 is waived and coaching continues for 30 days.

Before work begins, agree on the baseline, comparison period, eligible orders, volume, reporting, capacity, and participation. Count appropriate work that customers authorize and the shop completes. Track complaints, refunds, and rework alongside financial results.

Clear expectations before you begin

Is this about pressuring customers into repairs?

No. Advisors explain technician-documented recommendations clearly, respect the customer’s decision, and follow up with permission. Your qualified technicians determine the repair recommendations.

How do you measure the 8% improvement?

It is an 8% relative improvement in gross profit per eligible repair order. A $400 baseline would imply a $432 target. This example is an illustration, not a forecast.

Is the whole fee refundable?

No. The proposed remedy waives the final $6,000 and adds 30 days of coaching if the agreed target is missed under the written terms. It does not refund the kickoff payment.

What do we get from the review?

A one-page advisor scorecard and a follow-up improvement plan. Bring summary repair-order data and examples of estimate handling with customer details removed.

This page describes a proposed business service from Sell Something LLC, offering services under the Performance Sales Partners brand. A review request does not create a paid engagement, confirm an appointment, or reserve availability. Scope, fees, measurement definitions, eligibility, client responsibilities, and all conditional fee waivers, refunds, or replacement-search commitments must be set out in a separate written agreement before work begins.

Results depend on your business, implementation, staffing, capacity, and market conditions. No particular revenue, profit, hiring, or appointment outcome is guaranteed. The applicable signed agreement governs the engagement. Questions: [email protected].
